The 2012 ICF Canoe Freestyle World Cup is starting this weekend with 3 events. Check out my post here for more information on the events.

The second of the events will be held on the play wave at the Pigeon River in Hartford, TN. The spot of the competition is a freestyle wave created by raft guides behind the NOC outpost. They did a killer job and the spot is retentive and easy to throw big moves. Seems like the more amateur made spots are the best like Eternity Hole.

There is not a lot of video that show the most recent changes to the Pigeon wave but check out this video of Dane Jackson tearing it up in the new 2013 Star! The first spot in the video is the Pigeon wave and the second location is the Garberator wave in Ottawa, Canada.
