2013 Freestyle Kayaking World Championships - Nantahala River

New teaser video for the upcoming 2013 Freestyle Kayaking World Championships is out! This year, the NOC wave on the Nantahala river has been chosen as the venue. Very exciting stuff and a great honor to be chosen as the site for the best freestyle kayakers in the world to compete.  

The event will be held September 2-8, 2013 in the Nantahala Gorge, in the heart of the North Carolina Smokies. The competition will take place on the 2013 Wave, which is the centerpiece of the Nantahala freestyle kayaking venue. The wave (NOC wave) is created by a Wave Shaper, an underwater concrete structure that alters water flow, enhancing the existing drop at that point of the river.
