US Freestyle Team Trials Prelims Results

It was an exciting day at the U.S. Freestyle Team Trials in the Nantahala Gorge. The athletes woke up to a river with a flow that was almost double of what they had been practicing on. Despite that, the competitors throw down hard and came away with some impressive scores.

Prelims were two rides, the scores were combined, and the top 10 paddlers eligible for the US team advance. Nick and Dane are ghosts in the Men's K1. Nick is a Canadian and is not eligible for US Team and Dane got a bye for being the 2011 Jr. World Champion. Nick will continue to advance but will not be on the U.S. Team.
