The 2014 GoPro Mountain Games in Vail, Colorado have come to an end and wow was it a great one. While our main interest is focused on the whitewater kayak events, congrats to all of the athletes who participated. Read on for the results and some highlight videos including Dane Jackson's winning freestyle ride.

The 2014 GoPro Mountain Games in Vail Colorado are happening June 5-8 and the athletes are finishing up their practice runs before the main events. Check out this video of Jackson Kayak team member Mathieu Dumoulin on one of his steep creek race training runs in his Karma creek boat. Good luck to all the competitors!

Sam Grafton likes to charge hard while whitewater kayaking. I mean brutally hard. Watch this video to see him navigate the absolute chaos that is the Class V Tumwater Canyon in Wenatchee Washington. Huge props to all those who brave that huge water.

You have got to check this out. Professional kayaker Andrej Bijuklič shows us his playground in Ktarakt on the Soca River. The Soca River runs through Slovenia and northeastern Italy. Cool video with some great music, beautiful whitewater and some serious kayaking skills. Watch around 2:30 for an INSANE move!

Wow, check out this 14 year old young ripper. Meet Pili Lira Cerda, the next big thing in white water kayaking. Pili is a 14 year old chilean girl who runs the famous Futaleufu River every day during summer. Pili is now focused on studies and training year round. So awesome.

Rodeo has really taken off on the Green River Narrows in Saluda, NC. Doing really really slow laps, lapping all features, and dialing in moves for the Green River Games, etc. Ryan McAvoy brings us an extremely cool whitewater kayaking video showcasing the moves he and friends have been working on. Got a good whitewater kayaking video for you this morning from Jack Orr. On Easter Eve, Jack, Andrew and a couple from Asheville fired up the West Fork of the Tuckasegee in North Carolina on the first public release of 2014. Not only did they have a stellar day with great lines, they even cut out 3 river wide logs! No more mandatory portages now!

Located in Argentina, within the national park The Larches, the Futaleufu dam was built between 1972 and 1976. From here the Futaleufu "Rio Grande" river comes from the construction of this wall and you had not been able to navigate the rapids that exist downstream of the wall. In March 2014, with special permission, a group of kayakers run the lost Futaleufu river rapids for the first time.

The Substantial Media House crew are teasing a new upcoming episode called, "Peru." All of the episodes so far have been amazing and number 8 looks to be no exception. In this one, a group of whitewater misfits meet in the Andes Mountains of Peru. Join them as they drop into countless amazing canyons in search of hidden latin expeditions. Enjoy.

Wow is all I have to say. So this weekend, Pat Keller and Dane Jackson decided to get a little crazy. I mean, apparently Oceana on the Tallulah is not quite difficult enough for them. So, logically, they both decided to run the middle line and throw in a kickflip for good measure. Check out Dane and Pat Keller's lines in the vids.
