Welcome to WeStroke.  Wondering what this is all about? We are a couple of kayakers that are constantly scouring the great Internet tubes for all things kayaking and paddlesports related. You could say we have a problem... But anyway, we decided that there needed to be one good place to go for all the info you could want and thus WeStroke was born!

Right now we have just soft-launched the site and are very much in beta. As it currently stands, WeStroke is pretty much divided into a few key sections. One is for blog posts of all things paddlesports related with an emphasis on whitewater. Keep checking back often as we will be publishing all the new hotness (news, videos, etc) with new posts throught the day and night. 

Another part is the reviews. These are pretty much the same as the blog posts but the topics are reviews of different boats, gear, etc. As we were learning the kayaking ropes, we discovered that there just was not a lot of good reviews on the Interwebs regarding the best gear. We are doing our best to rectify that situation with personal reviews of gear in addition to ones from others in the community. 

Last, but not least, the river guide section. We wanted to create a one-stop shop for all of your paddlesport needs. Beyond cool videos, reviews, etc this needed to include an easy to use guide for finding the water to play on in the first place! Thus we have created our Rivers&Creeks section which breaks down the different Rivers and Creeks by State, River, River Section feature. Because of the sheer quantity of information, this section is a work in progress and we will be adding additional waterways daily as well as river gage information, etc. Being from Nashville, TN we naturally started there and have most of it and Alabama covered.  Please be patient with us and we will hopefully complete this section before too long.
