The Salto de la Puma is still the tallest waterfall ever run in Chile. It has been unofficially yet accurately measured at around 35-36 meters tall (110-115 feet). This combined with it's difficult entry and dangerous landing zone makes The Puma one of the most technical waterfalls in the world. When the boys arrived, it was straight to the Rio Palguin, which serves up some of the most classic and biggest whitewater in the entire country. The entire river was run with only 3 portages. Substantial Media House just recently picked up a few of the new Liquid Logic Stingers, the nearly 13 foot long whitewater creek racing kayaks. The Substantial guys took these bad-boys out on Callaghan River (Whistler area) for 2-3 miles of fun class IV-V boulder rapids. Man, we can't wait to get our hands on some of these boats!
