WeStroke Team Rider Ben Ghertner brings us a video of him doing some kayaking in the Little River Canyon (LRC) in Alabama. He and friends hit the falls, Mammoth and Terminal Eddy in what looks like an awesome day. Even a little bit of carnage thrown in to boot. Check it.

This past Saturday was the second event of the Plateau Creek Race Series, which is being brought to you by World Kayak, with help from The Outdoor Experience in Cookeville and we here at WeStroke.com. This event was a timed race on the Jett to Lilly section of Clear Creek, near Crossville and Wartburg, TN.

NRS brings us Episode 8 of their Rescue for River Runners, which focuses on boat extraction. When a boat gets pinned while whitewater kayaking or canoeing, you need to know how to retrieve it safely. Swiftwater rescue expert Jim Coffey demonstrates how to retrieve a pinned kayak or canoe using methods ranging from pushing and pulling to setting up a mechanical advantage system.

Early in the fall, the Substantial crew headed to the Grand Canyon of the Stikine, which holds some of the biggest, gnarliest whitewater on planet earth. Watch as they kayak some seriously substantial whitewater including not only the Stikine but some additional BC rivers as well such as the Ashlu Box, Tatlow Creek, and Fear Canyon.

Jackson Kayak and Red-Bull Team Rider Rafa Ortiz is a very busy man. Fresh off being the second man to conquer the 189ft Palouse Falls in Washington state and competing in the Whitewater Grand Prix, Ortiz is heading home to Mexico to the many waterfalls on the Alseseca River.

Watch as Watersheds Films explores the infamous Little Stoney in Virginia. This is some COLD and snowy conditions but man it looks absolutely gorgeous. The Little Stoney drops 1,000 feet in less than 3 miles and is filled with picturesque waterfalls, long curvy slides and complex boulder gardens.
